What is a PDF file?
PDF is the most common document format in the world for viewing text and pictures together on a page. You need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view PDF files. Adobe Reader is included on every CD, but the newest version is always available for free download by just Googling it.
How do I view the plans?
On Windows-based computers, a dialogue box should pop up when you insert the disc. On some computers, it sometimes won't. Simply click Start/Programs/Accessories/Windows Explorer. Windows Explorer is included with Windows and is your computer's file manager and viewer. Simply click on the CD's drive letter in the left column and the CD's contents will be displayed on the right side. Click on a plans file name and if you have Adobe Reader installed, the plans will open up.
My CD is blank!
This is absolutely impossible. This is something that occasionally happens to novice computer users. Every disc is checked and tested before shipping to make sure all files are on the disc. We never ever fail to check the discs before shipping. See the FAQ for how to view the plans. These plans are simply data (PDF files) on a disc. The disc doesn't "play" and is not a fancy multimedia presentation. PDF files are always viewed with Adobe Reader.
Where did these plans come from?
All plans were originally published in old technical publications, some as much as 80 years ago. These were scanned, digitally restored and super-enlarged for easy viewing of fine details. The original old plans could be difficult to read and sometimes even impossible without a magnifying glass. These restored versions are superior to the originals.
Can I print the plans?
Yes, all plans can be printed out as desired. The great thing about PDF files is that you can view the plans on your computer and only print out one or more pages as needed and not worry about getting greasy fingerprints on them.
What payment forms do you accept?
We accept credit cards through Google Checkout. If you prefer to use PayPal, please select "Alternative Checkout" on the checkout page. With either payment method, your data is safe and secure and your account or credit card information is never given to the seller.
